Privacy policy

General Information The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

These pages are hosted by world4you internet services gmbh (Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, Austria). The provider’s data protection declaration can be found here: https://www.world4you.com/en/privacy-policy.html (Link needs verification)

Automatic data storage (Server Log Files)

When you visit this website, certain data, including personal data, is generated and stored automatically. Our web server (computer that hosts the website) automatically stores data such as:
  • the address (URL) of the accessed web page
  • browser and browser version
  • the operating system used
  • the address (URL) of the previously visited page (referrer URL)
  • the host name and the IP address of the device from which access is made date and time
This data is stored in server log files. We typically do not use this data and do not forward it to third parties unless required by law. However, we reserve the right to review this log data retrospectively if concrete evidence suggests illegal use.

Storage and use of personal data

Personal data that you transmit electronically on this website, such as your name, email address, company/organization, subject, or message content via the contact form, will only be used by us for the purpose specified, stored securely, and not disclosed to third parties without your consent.
We therefore collect, process and use the data made available to us only for purposes agreed with you or based on your consent, or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR (e.g., fulfilling a contract, legitimate interest). An exception to this is the use for statistical purposes, provided that the data provided has been anonymized.

Contact Form

If you contact us via the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide (Name, Email Address, Company/Organization, Subject, Your Message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis for this processing is typically your consent (Art. 6 para 1 lit a GDPR) or the initiation/fulfillment of a contract (Art. 6 para 1 lit b GDPR) if your request relates to our services. We will not pass on this data without your consent. We will retain this data until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed), unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have – at any time – the right to be informed about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing, the right to rectification, the right to deletion or blocking of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data and/or data that is no longer necessary for agreed, contractual or legal purposes, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to the processing.
If your personal data is stored and used on the grounds of your consent (e.g., via the contact form), you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Your request for information, rectification, deletion, restriction, data transfer and/or objection as well as the withdrawal of consent can be sent to the following e-mail address: datenschutz@acib.at

If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection rules or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the “Datenschutzbehörde” (Data Protection Authority). Their website can be found at: https://www.dsb.gv.at

Data Security and notification of data breaches

The protection of your data is carried out by appropriate technical and organizational measures. These measures relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, illegal or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation.
We use https for secure internet data transfer. The use of TLS (Transport Layer Security), an encryption protocol for secure data transfer, enables us to guarantee the protection of confidential data. You can recognize the use of secure data transfer by the small lock symbol in the upper left corner of your browser window and the use of https as part of our internet address.
Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information that you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons. Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hack attack on e-mail account or server). If you send us personal data via email – not via this website’s contact form – we cannot guarantee secure transmission and the protection of your data. We therefore advise you never to send sensitive personal data by unencrypted email.
We make every effort to ensure that data breaches are detected at an early stage and, if necessary, immediately reported to you or the relevant regulatory authority, including the respective data categories that are affected.

This enables our websites to recognize you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser and to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our websites. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number that no longer allows the user to be identified as a person.
Further we use permanent cookies to make our website more user-friendly. The permanent cookies we use remain stored on your device until you delete them and enable us to remember your browser when you visit us again.
If you don’t want this you can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are used and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. You can delete the cookies that are stored on your computer or totally deactivate cookies any time. The procedure varies from browser to browser. In order to find out how you can do it with your browser look for “delete cookies chrome” or deactivate cookies chrome” in Google if you use Chrome. For other browsers please replace Chrome with the name of your browser (e.g. Edge, Safari, Firefox). If you generally don’t allow us to use cookies or deactivate cookies in your browser settings this may cause a lack of functionality of specific pages.

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/rcb/data-processing/.
The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.
